For ten years we have been blessed to gather our friends and family on our farm to celebrate the joy of music and community together. Our Bash Events have become a gathering place for community, friendship, and family to encourage each other and share our faith and love of music. They’re like a family reunion...and now this family is going on vacation!

I’m so excited to announce that we are taking our beloved Barn Bash to the seas for a new adventure: The Caribbean Cruise Boat Bash! Join me for an amazing vacation! If that wasn’t enough, I will have my “Phelps Family Band” with me AND we have invited special guests, Cana’s Voice with TaRanda Greene, Doug Anderson, and Jody McBrayer to be with us! I will be doing my music with great themed nights like “Broadway Music,” “Caribbean Christmas,”  “Phelps Family Band” and then we will all get together for a “Big Voice Tour” at sea.

With delicious food, an incredible ship with tons of amenities, and time making music and memories with family and friends—this is a vacation you won’t want to miss! We can’t wait to set sail and we hope you’ll hop on board with us! Call and book your cabin now before they disappear! Our family vacation awaits!

A graduate from Baylor University, David Phelps is credited among today’s most spectacular voices. His seemingly endless vocal range, which extends more than three octaves, coupled with his gift for communicating a song, has brought the house down in the world’s most prestigious venues. For more than 15 years, David served as a member of the popular and prestigious Gaither Vocal Band, and during that time received numerous Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, and multiple platinum-selling recording projects. As a solo artist, he received 2009 Dove Award nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Long Form Video for the Christmas DVD, O Holy Night to add to his many awards and honors. David’s 2012 live concert DVD, David Phelps: Classic, debuted on Billboards’ Music Video Chart at #1 and since its release has received acclaim from throughout both Gospel and secular music genres. The recording has been featured on numerous television networks, including the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). In 2015, David released the recording, Freedom. The Freedom companion DVD also debuted at #1 on Billboards’ Music Video Chart. Most recently, in April of 2017, The Best of David Phelps: from the Homecoming Series, peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Music Video Sales Chart, topping such popular video releases as The Beatles’ Eight Days A Week and Eric Clapton’s Live In San Diego, as well as Adele’s Live At The Royal Albert Hall. That same week, David’s Freedom video sat in the top 20. In 2017, David released his latest recording, Hymnal. Throughout the recording, David lends his artistry to some of the most treasured hymns of the church. The recording showcases masterful vocals and lush arrangements as each song takes the listener on a journey of inspiration and worship in song. Growing up in a musical family, his natural gift for song was evident when he was very young. Even as he sang in church as a teenager, he knew that he wanted to be a performer. At the age of 18, while earning his degree in vocal performance from Baylor University, David began what would be a life-long passion of traveling around the world to share music, inspiration and good news. While studying music at Baylor, David met Lori Purtle, who has been his wife and rock-solid partner in his career for more than two decades. The couple has four great kids – Callie, Maggie Beth, Grant and Coby – and the Phelps family resides on their farm outside Nashville, Tennessee. ﷯PHELPS FAMILY BAND David Phelps and the Family Band may have just performed their first concert in 2019, but this trio has been working on their harmonies for years. David and daughters Callie (Phelps) DeSoto and Maggie Beth Phelps bring their family stories and songs to the stage. With a mix of new songs and old favorites the Family Band shares their faith and welcomes you in as a member of the family! ﷯CANA'S VOICE Riding the wave of their unprecedented success, Cana’s Voice has combined the multi-genre talents of Jody McBrayer, TaRanda Greene and Doug Anderson to create a unified message of hope for the hurting. Their awe-inspiring harmony, coupled with the beautiful ability to deliver their personal testimonies, has propelled the vocal supergroup into the music industry spotlight. In addition to each member having well-established solo careers, Cana’s Voice comes together 30 to 40 times a year for special events, as well as exciting concert tours with such artists as acclaimed tenor David Phelps and multi-Grammy winner CeCe Winans. Among their many concerts over the last three years, they have performed at Brooklyn Tabernacle, Bellevue Baptist Church and Shadow Mountain Community Church. They have also been a part of the National Day of Prayer events in Washington, DC, been featured at the Southern Baptist Metro One Worship Conferences and have made regular appearances at Turning Point rallies. Next year, they will be expanding their tour into Norway, Sweden, and Australia. With countless live appearances behind them and the success of their chart-topping project, This Changes Everything, Cana’s Voice is thrilled about the release of their highly-anticipated sophomore recording project, Don’t Wanna Miss This. Utilizing the skills of today’s most prolific songwriters and working with three award-winning producers, Jim Hammerly, Wayne Haun and Jerard Woods, the group carefully selected songs designed to offer hope to the hopeless. While they want to send the message of God’s love and redeeming grace to as many people as possible, they are particularly concerned for those who are on the edge of giving up on God, Christianity and the church. This project is sure to encourage, inspire and remind listeners to cross life’s mountains with Jesus as their guide. For Cana’s Voice, this message of hope and perseverance comes from a very personal place. Greene was thrust into the role of single mom and suffered from loneliness and clinical depression following the unexpected death of her first husband, Tony, in 2010. A self-described family man, Anderson and wife Michele are helping his father care for his mother on her journey with Alzheimer’s disease. McBrayer departed multi-award winning CCM group, Avalon, and stepped into a nearly decade-long hiatus from the music industry after being diagnosed with degenerative heart disease. Little did each of them know that lessons learned while walking with God through these valleys would lead to the ministry they have found in Cana’s Voice.
