For more than four decades, the Down East Boys have stood at the forefront of Southern Gospel music, carrying on a legacy of rich harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and ministry-focused performances. Formed in 1985, the quartet has toured extensively across the United States and abroad, sharing the hope of the Gospel with audiences of every generation. With multiple #1 songs and numerous industry honors, the Down East Boys have remained one of the most consistent and respected groups in the genre.

In 2025, they celebrated a career milestone with their first-ever GMA Dove Award nomination, a recognition that affirms both their artistic excellence and ministry impact. Their most recent release, An Irish Christmas (StowTown Records, 2025), produced by Jason Webb and recorded live in Dublin, Ireland with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, showcases this blend of heritage and creativity. The project features Irish classics, alongside fresh takes on sacred carols.

Today, the Down East Boys continue to tour nationwide, appearing at major events like the National Quartet Convention, the Memphis Quartet Show, and numerous churches, concert halls, and festivals across the country. With a reputation for excellence, energy, and sincerity, they remain committed to the same mission that began their journey—to uplift hearts and point people to Christ through music.
