Gold City Quartet Concerts & Events

Since 1980, gospel music fans world-wide have been in love with the trend-setting style of Gold City. From their inception, this quartet’s goal has been to use the musical gifts the Lord has given them the best way they know how to honor God, witness to the lost, and encourage the saved.

With 10 number one songs, multiple radio hits, and numerous industry accolades, this Dove Award-winning quartet has achieved legendary status as they have remained atop the gospel charts consistently in each of the past four decades. They have won over 60 Singing News Fan Awards as a group and among the individual group members. Historically, they’ve introduced some of the most important songs in all of gospel music to audiences everywhere, including “Midnight Cry,” “Under Control,” “I’m Not Giving Up,” “It’s Still The Cross,” and “In My Robe of White.” They had the number one radio chart single for the year 2019 as noted by Singing News Magazine, “All My Hope.” In 2017, the crowning achievement of being named to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame forever solidifies what thousands of loyal gospel music followers already know—Gold City will forever be the standard of excellence for gospel quartet music.

Daniel Riley is at the helm of the present-day Gold City that continues to regularly tour the United States as well as several foreign countries. His outstanding baritone voice, emcee ability and leadership make up the foundation of this quartet that is carrying on the legacy that was established by his Hall of Fame father, Tim Riley. Daniel is joined by three outstanding vocalists who continue to produce music that inspires and uplifts their fans while keeping that trend-setting style and standard for which Gold City has always been known Josh Feemster brings a powerful lead voice to the group, which he uses with great energy. His testimony is one of redemption and restoration. Chris Jenkins’ tenor voice is strong and clear, and his passion for this music and love for the Lord is felt in every note he sings. Hand-picked by Tim Riley for the bass position, Jeff Chapman’s big bass voice puts the finishing touches on what is now the Gold City sound for the next generation to come.

As Gold City moves into the future, it is clear that the group is in good hands—and good voices—as folks everywhere are discovering night after night. This hit songs, the stellar vocals, and the class and style that have always been still are, unmistakably, Gold City.
